Objectives of the USBCC

Membership in the USBCC is open to anyone interested in the Border Collie, its welfare, and its preservation as a sound working dog. Membership spans the US coast to coast, including Border Collie owners whose dogs work on farms and ranches, trial in sheep and cattle dog trials, compete in other performance events, work as service and therapy dogs, or serve exclusively as pets and companions. Our common denominator is an overwhelming concern for the breed. Individually and collectively, we oppose any activities that compromise the breed's unique working ability. We welcome the opportunity to show our support for responsible breeding and ownership of Border Collies. The small yearly dues fee, more than anything else, gives members the chance to contribute to the breed's well-being and to share in influencing its future. Objectives of the USBCC are:

Cost: The modest dues fee of $15 per year or $150 lifetime entitles you to the benefits listed elsewhere on this page. Membership includes a quarterly newsletter. To join, simply fill out the application form and send it with the appropriate fee (payable to USBCC) to Laura Carson, Treasurer, United States Border Collie Club, 1712 Hertford Street, Greensboro, NC 27403. Make all checks payable to the USBCC (U.S. funds only, please).
