JennH
Hi all- my newest BC is 5 months old, I got him at 4. He comes from working lines, but is showing no interest in any of our animals (sheep included) except for eating poop! My other two BC’s turned on at about 10 weeks! Should I be concerned or just maybe there is such a thing as late bloomers?.
GentleLake
Welcome to the Boards. It's not unusual for a pup to turn on later than 5 months, sometimes even a year or more. Hopefully he's just a late bloomer. And just so you know, we love pictures here.
red russel
It is often considered a blessing when pups don't turn on till later. You don't end up having to catch them up out of pens, paddocks, or pastures when they are running their little legs off while chasing or harassing stock. If my pups would wait till their 8 month birthday I'd be very pleased! dave
