Plus it's a nice topic to discuss How did you first feel that bond forming with your pup? Any particular moments come to mind? Anything that made you suddenly go, "wow, this dog loves/trusts me"? Mandy1961 Posted March 3, 2019 Report Share Posted March 3, 2019 When our puppy was young and when we let him out of his crate, he would go mad at greeting us, so we knew we were missed and that he was pleased to see us. Then came the turning of his head to check on us on walks, as if to say, are you ok. Now he is 9 months old and if he does something wrong or bad, he jumps up at us to say sorry. My two adult sons are always asking does he love us, I tell them that he looks for them in the day and knows when they should be coming home. He is not a cuddly or lap dog, but will sit by our feet.
