They're actively recruiting cases of uncontrolled idiopathic epileptic dogs to participate in a double-blinded, placebo-controlled study. Contact info in the article if anyone has or knows of a dog that may qualify.

Good to hear about a controlled study, but I would not have enrolled my pharmacoresistant epileptic dog because I would not to take the chance of being assigned to the placebo group. Having said that, logically it probably would not have mattered since nothing worked for her anyway, but I needed to feel that I was doing my best to treat her.
