Cowboy in his happy place!

Recommended Posts

From mid October of this year. Proving that a little ideopathic epilespy will not hold him back!

Yeah I had to learn to tune out the noise. . .after awhile I stopped noticing it. My wife went to one of our clubs flyball practices and never came again! Cowboy only barks when he is waiting on deck for our teams race. Once in the lanes he quiets down. And we keep our dogs nice and quiet in our crating area.

By comparison I spent two full days at this years National Sheepdog Finals and heard exactly 1 dog, bark once! And that was because he recognized the sound of the handlers whistle.

So Cowboy (aka seizure boy aka shmush) finally got his NAFA Flyball Onyx title! I am very happy for the little guy. He was come a long way in the past 2 years. First recovering from a mast cell tumor, then learning how to cope with epilespy. He can still be a little rough around the house, always pushy for play and attention. But he has come a long way back and is running Flyball better than ever! Now if I can improve his start-line stay (yea impulse control) and switch commands from a distance, he might really become something in agility!
