nancy
I think we have members up in the north of England: Yorkshire, Lancastershire, and such. I hope all are surviving the horrendous flooding I see in the Yorkshire Post, the Darlington Northern Echo, and the Huddersfield Examiner. mum24dog
Thanks for the thought. We've been OK in north Lancashire but a friend 15 miles away in Cumbria who had only been in her new home for 6 weeks was flooded out and lost both cars and her caravan. She's been lent a house by another friend and is looking on the bright side - they hadn't yet done any work on the house to make it their own and now the insurance company will pay for the work. Sue R
The photos and videos I've seen have been awful. I hope all are kept safe. Possessions can be replaced but people and animals I hope are protected.

Donald McCaig
Dear Fellow Farmers, But this was predicted years ago. Modern conservatives are a little too willing to substitute quasi-religious theory for science. http://mainlymacro.blogspot.in/ Donald McCaig
Tommy Coyote
These are the most amazing dogs. We have terrible flooding here in Missouri. The Mississippi is going places it hasn't gone in years and years. So many people flooded out and no insurance.
vireyda
The flooding in both places is dreadful. I hope as many people and animals as possible are safe. Was relived to see animal groups near the flooding in Missouri helping out people who needed to flee and couldn't take their pets. Some lessons learned from Katrina at least...
