rushdoggie
As an aside: pumpkin has always worked well but I have found I could not always find it in the store when I wanted it and also sometimes was expensive ($3.75 for a small can???). Plus, my dogs often only need it for a day or two but then I still had half a can. I found these dehydrated pumpkin flakes in my local specialty pet store and they rock: I just add a (very) little on top on their food with a tablespoon of water when I need it, and it stores nicely in my cabinet until I need it. The dogs seem to like it and will lick it off the top of their food before they eat it. A little goes a long way as its dehydrated. http://primepetsupply.com/product/firm-up-pumpkin-flakes/?id=gpla&gclid=CN6Uwdn3770CFQeRfgodrU8A6g
Sue R
That's a great idea! I buy some extra pumpkin during "pie season" between Thanksgiving and Christmas time, when I can get the small cans for $1, and sometimes even the big cans for that price if they are trying to move out the inventory. I can freeze leftovers in ice cube trays or on waxed paper in the portions I want for later use. The product you posted is certainly much more convenient! Gideon's girl
I do just like Sue does, but those pumpkin flakes sound great. I haven't seen them anywhere yet. I'll have to look online.
