B Point
Thank you for the kind comments. My wife isn't much of a dog person but because he's so "handsome and smart" (as she puts it) she's really warmed up to having him in the family. She just hates it when he hangs out in the kitchen and gets his nose into things. I'm working on that part of the training but it's proving difficult. My daughter (11 yrs old) is a little jealous with all the attention he gets or rather needs, but she loves him, too.
gcv-border
Start teaching him to pick up things and put them in the trash or help load laundry in the washer (if you have a front loader) - and your wife will think he is a gem. B Point
Haha...good plan Jovi. I've taught him to bring his bowl to my wife which she thinks is so cute...so some bonus points there. I'll work on the laundry trick. Putting things in the trash is a reach right now although he's a pro at taking things out of the trash..
Joe Anne
What is your pups birth date? My new pup was born April 17th...the are close in age. My Rose appears much thinner and probably smaller over all. 1st pic...about 3 months old. 2nd ... About 5 mos old
B Point
Hi JoeAnne and crew. Yes, they are close...exactly one month apart. Tio was born May 17th. It's hard to tell but I think he's going to be a pretty good sized fella. He's filling out since switching to Orijen so we have to be careful of his weight but right now he's just about right. I think the camera angle and lighting makes him look bigger than he actually is. It's funny,,, if I take a picture with the iPhone he looks like a little runt...and with the d300....majestic... Rose....love those eyes!!
