~*Regina*~
I purchase Willow a leather collar about 1 month ago and the metal on it has tarnished and the "leather" is very thin so im guess it wont last much longer. I want to get her another nice leather collar (preferably pink ), where do you recommend I look? I want to make sure I dont waist my money again and buy something that wont last! Thank you
Liz P
I have these. I ordered them 4 years ago and they look just fine, no rust and the leather is softer than ever because the natural oils from the dogs' fur conditions them. This collar is supposed to feel like leather and be very durable, and it comes in bright pink. Edited June 22, 2012 by Liz P
D'Elle
Ryan's Pet Supplies (online) has good, sturdy leather collars for less than most places charge. My dogs have them and they remain in good shape for years and years. D'Elle

Chesney's Girl
I'll second the Gun Dog Supply ones! I also have leather collars from HERE that I have been very happy with, they are durable as well, just far more pricey than the GDS ones. Beach BCs
I will third the Gun Dog Supply collars. Ours have stood up to daily swimming in saltwater (with occasional freshwater rinsing) beautifully.
G. Festerling
Or find a saddle maker and have them custom make one. I make my own. Good heavy duty hardware and good leather. Plus I am obsessive about strong stitching.
