alligande
We have always wanted to train our dogs to use a specific spot in the yard as a bathroom. The problem we faced was my beloved female GSD mix just did not care and had no personal pride about such matters, unlike my 2 male BCs. My last BC picked his own spot which was fine, but my new BC has just been following the example of Jester and goes everywhere. Now she is no longer with us the time has come for some training but I have no idea how to go about training this. It might be relevant that other than at home Brody will usually only go with his bottom in a bush or some other private location, at agility trials I don't need to carry a plastic bag. Any ideas and suggestions Thanks......

Most dogs don't like to poop where they eat, so they will move to the opposite end of the area. Doesn't always work - but often it does.
