NorthfieldNick
Lu's ultrasound revealed several swollen lymph nodes. A biopsy of the one that was reachable was cancerous. The sudden front-end lameness is likely caused by metastasizing tumors. Lu is pretty much on borrowed time now. It's all palliative care from here on out- could be a week, could be a month. She is not comfortable, and her back end is very weak & unstable. I'll hopefully pick up another prescription tomorrow for pain. Monday was five years that I adopted Lu. We should have had 10 years together. She's a once-in-a-lifetime dog. I am not ready to lose her, but I guess we never are. Thanks for the mojo, everyone. I'm going to go hug my dogs.
