How much do most 6 month olds weigh?

Recommended Posts

Rory was about 15.6 kg (= 34 lbs) at 6 months - approximately 19.5".

Incidentally, he'll be 7 months old next week - seems that he's been teething this last week - feels like a set of molars right at the back - does that make sense? (Maybe thery're wisdom teeth  )

At 3.5 years now he weighs 48 lbs - and he's 23 inches at the shoulder.

Wow. Justice--my lab/st. bernard hybrid--is 23.5 at the shoulder...and weighs 120 lbs. He's not the least bit overweight! (A tiny bit underweight, actually.)

Libby is 18.5 inches at the shoulders...and weighs 40 lbs. I think at six months she weighed around 32 lbs, and 17 inches. She's small but not real fine-lined like this little guy.

You gotta love the differences within the border collie breed!

Wick..

8 weeks = 8 pounds

12 weeks = 12 pounds

16 weeks = 16 pounds

(seeing a trend here? lol)

18 weeks = 18 pounds

she slowed down when she hit around 22-24 weeks/pounds

Adult = 30-31 pounds, 18"

Hype..

8 weeks = 7.9 pounds

9 weeks = 9.4 pounds

12 weeks = 13.1 pounds

13 weeks = 14.2 pounds

17 weeks = 18.7 pounds

(to be continued...) B)

Both of the above dogs are female. The adage of doubling the 16-week weight to approximate the final weight within a few pounds has held true for all my (female) dogs so far. My guesstimation is Hype will end up about 34#, 19-20".

I was looking for this info...I think I'm gonna have a big boy. I just weighed Finnegan at 5.5 months and he is 37 lbs. He's tall and lanky. I knew he was gonna be a big boy. That's alright, my first BC was 45 lbs at his heaviest and 40 lbs when he passed (but had lost a few lbs due to illness). I just hope he doesn't go over 50 lbs, that's about the max I can lift!
