Beth G
Well they've done it. They've killed their toy ball..lol. It used to look like this: Now it looks like this: But hey..they had fun! Especially running through the sprinklers to catch the ball. I would have had more pics, but the camera battery died.... They really liked that ball and refuse to use any other ones we've gotten for them...how do I get them to switch over???
JackoDog
Do you mean they won't use a new version of the same ball, or won't use a different type of ball? If you're trying a different type of ball all together, I'd just say get a new one that's like the old one, maybe that will do the trick. If you've got a new one that's like the old one, maybe you just need train "fetch" over again with treats? Or perhaps playing with both the old and new ball, alternating which one you throw, and phasing out the old one? Jacko didn't want to play with his new ball at first, either, but once we got our scent and his slobber on it he was good to go. Now if I could only get him to play with it for more than 3 or 4 throws...
Beth G
I'm trying to get them to transfer to another type of ball as the seams on this one are shot, but they don't want to switch. I think that they liked the way it had the rubber prongs on it. Good for teething ya know. PS I haven't been able to find another like it- but stronger- yet. sandyleew
I would just throw that one away. Eventually they will pick another favorite. Brew destroys his favorite toys all the time, but after they are thrown away, he picks a new favorite.
Kassies mom
Try one of these...the ring ring is virtually indestructible !! Kassie has chewed hers for 2 yrs  way bottom of page. All the toys on this site are great, we pretty much get all ours here, cause they donate to BC Rescue. HarleysDad
Harley destroys his toys. Plays with them for a while then starts tearing them apart.
Lunar
If our dogs started sulking over a bone or toy, it would go away, and they would just have to get over it. They will, eventually.
