ShoresDog
Tikkle and two of her cows this morning. Here she is in her new T-shirt, courtesy of KelpieGirl: And here's a link to a little video of Tikkle working cows this morning. Mom, what's this shirt thing? Looking good, still some short fur here and there. Friend Daisy sneaking in for a scruffle too. Cousin Cross (on left), who came in 7th in the Nursery Division at Nationals last week, and his buddy Merlin. Merlin and Cross The source of all the problems, the blasted foxtails! These came out of Daisy's fur on the second comb-out, at home.

Allie Oop
Loved the pictures! Hate the foxtails! They are a bane, aren't they. I am currently picking them out of my socks.
kelpiegirl
She looks great. You would never have known she was in such dire straits! Julie
stockdogranch
Thanks, Jan, for posting the pics! In that first pic, she had snuck over to the calves on her own, and looked back at me to ask if it was Ok to bring them. This was her first work on cattle since the foxtail incident. It seems evident from the video that she has certainly not lost her fondness for hitting heels! We are so very fortunate to have had such a great outcome. I know all the good thoughts and prayers helped. It's been just 2 weeks, and the only residual effects are that she still acts a little more immature than she had been prior to this, but she is growing up all over again rapidly. hoku's mum
Yeah for Tikkle! She looks great, loved the video, she really makes those cows jump! So glad to see her doing so well after the blasted fox-tail foul-up. Boy do we hate those little buggers, was out mowing 'em down most of the day... C Crocker
What a great update on Tikkle! So glad all has worked out! She really bounced back! Anna, Nice to see your Tikkle looking so good after her ordeal. The more photos I see of her the more she reminds me of my Lyn. Especially the photo of her "climbing" up your leg for a pat! Actually I have a photo from last fall's Sheepdog Nat'ls with you, your set out dog, the sheep and Lyn in there, with Shasta in the backgound. Quite a nice photo. stockdogranch
Why does Tikkle wear a tee shirt? She wore it for her photo opp--Kelpiegirl sent it to her, and we neded a photo of her in it to show off. Actually I have a photo from last fall's Sheepdog Nat'ls with you, your set out dog, the sheep and Lyn in there, with Shasta in the backgound. Quite a nice photo. I'd love to see it, if possible. I have tons of pics of the dogs, but very few of them doing set out. Jan (shoresdog) sent me one from Soldier Hollow, and I really enjoyed it.
