Catu
I've never liked docked tails as you loose a very importan way of communication of the dog. Rotties with tails look a lot friendly. We had a tsunami in Patagonia a few weeks ago and some of our dogs went to search missing people. The first day one of our labs hurted his tail, we don't know how, but it semmed like a muscular damage. Now I understand why hunters dock the tails of their dogs... but frisby is still out of my imagination. Besides... what is something like "serious frisbee"? I know it is a formal sport and all, but isn't it supossed to be for fun?
Guest Rockie's mum
Just caught up with this thread, just like Moss I 've never seen a collie with a docked tail either. It's now illegal to have a dog's tail docked here(any dog).
