border_collie_crazy Posted May 13, 2007 Report Share Posted May 13, 2007 when they have been in the local creek(that water REEKS), and when they get covered in mud or sand so thick that it aint gonna just dry and fall off lol. the BCs dont often need it though, teflon coats are great lol I feel really odd..... my dog actually asks for baths !!! lol Rusty asks for baths too, when he wants a bath she jumps into the bathtub, stands on his hind legs, wavs her front paws and barks, then he is all happy when you abide, and give him a bath lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My dog gets a bath about once a month in summer (it's very hot here and it cools them down); and about every third month in winter, unless they've gone a little heavy with the fragrance like Mark's.
