  1. Ok, I looked at this post this morning and thought it was a worm too. But dismissed my thought. Glad I'm not the only one who thought that. I do hope that you get some answers from your vet. Good luck!
  2. To respond to Donald's post #36: Yes, Patricia has trialed in PN, keeps sheep, and has attended clinic's other that Patrick's.
  3. Hi Donald, I am sorry to hear. Your trial was on my bucket list of trials. Wishing you the best, Vicki
  4. Teak started leaking about 1 year ago at age 7. She's on DES. We started with a pill once a week for 3 months or so and we have a been able to drop down to 1 pill every other week without issue.
  5. So very sorry for your loss.
  6. Welcome! I second Julie's post and agree with Jovi. Feed what works for your dog and your wallet.
  7. Yep, what Julie said. I have chair that stays in the dog van specifically for SDTs - complete with a little fold out table on the side of it.
  8. I'm glad to hear that Gabe is recovering well! Fingers crossed that he keeps improving. I am sorry to hear that this happened to you and to Gabe. I am sorry for the foster dog and her foster family. As a side note, personally I can tell you that making a decision to euthanize a rescue/foster dog is not an easy one to make - in some cases the facts are pretty clear and in that respect it is easy but emotionally it is hard to swallow regardless.... It sounds like in this case it is the right choice to make.
  9. Thinking of you and Gabe. I hope that his leg heals up well. I'm glad to hear that you are reporting this.
  10. No. I love each of my dogs as individuals. There will never be another one of any of them. That's what makes them so special. Also, part of what shapes a dog is the experiences that they have. A hypothetical cloned dog wouldn't have the same experiences as the original dog. Thus - they could never be the same. Huge set up for failure if you ask me. BTW - I love the program This American Life....
  11. This is great news - thanks to all who are involved!
  12. There certainly appears to be something odd about the front legs. I hope that you are able to get some answers. Best wishes!
  13. Oh, I am so so sorry to read this news. You are in my thoughts. Run free Trooper.
  14. Amazing write-up on foster dog. I sure hope he finds a great home! He's a looker!
  15. I echo what Maja and many others have said far more eloquently than I could myself. Healing thoughts to you.
  16. I am very sorry for your loss. Run free Freya.
  17. Congrats, JLJ and Amber! That is terrific news.
  18. I'm sending good thoughts for good news on the test results. All the best to you, Crow, and Tess.
