While training pups, mine are 14 monthes, when do you start teaching them whistles? They are doing small outruns, have good downs, recalls, know thier flanks (some times need a small reminder, like a raised hand, etc..) and are learning thier walk ups and there's. They have worked at several different sites on several different types of sheep and are being pretty consistent. And if they are ready to start on whistles which one should I start with? Recall, down, etc???
