  1. I agree with tricia and Mike, though........I'd be more concerned about someone or something harming my dog vs the dog harming someone else. It's just not safe to take a dog in a public place and let it run free. No matter how well the dog behaves something else could harm it. Not like being out in acres of fields where it's less likely to get hit by a car or a person that may enjoy going after you legally for a little growl. Not worth putting yourself or the dog through all that. Best to keep him on Lead.
  2. My foster girl growls at her toys. Which sounds wicked. But it's all in a days play. It's just the way she is. Her original owners decided she was aggressive. There's not a mean bone in her body. Just the way she sounds. KellyO
  3. I'm not trying to be rude. But Dogs love to be around their humans. Why have a dog if it's not allowed to be around his/her people? What is the use of having dogs that are kept outside all day and night? What purpose does that serve? Again, I'm not trying to be rude. Please forgive my tone of typing. I agree with the poster that said they stay by the glass door because they want to be near people. Kelly
  4. Thank you. I have been cleaning it with good old soap and water. Then putting a triple antibiotic on it. She's also on amox twice a day. For the ears I'm putting quadritop oint in twice a day. Poor baby. Kelly
  5. My seven mo pup , Dyce, can clear a room. He sometimes will get into the cat food and it's all over after that. OMG...... Kelly
  6. My foster girl is so sweet. I took her in to have her sutures removed today. She was spayed in the shelter before I got her. The surrounding area was a bit swollan and red. She also had a fever. The Vet said he felt she also had an ear infection. So she's on oral antiobiotics and an ear drop. Do these things usually clear up without problems? Kelly
  7. Oh what a beautiful dog! Yes, that's what Dyce is like. Just around his feathers. Okay. I get it now. I thought I had a blk/white/tri/mix/bordercrazy. LOL. The eyes on these borders are so beautiful, arnt they? Look how stunning those eyes are!1 Kelly
  8. Ah, not much better. Sorry. I lifted the tail (he gave me that look that he gets when he visits his vet doctor) and I didn't see anything too interesting, lol. No brown at all. Just a big fluffy white tail. Kelly
  9. Thank you. Yes, it's just around the feathering on his ears and a little if you look in the sunlight around his muzzle. It's like seeing a little red hair in someone's darker hair. The rest of him is blk and white, no doubt. Not that I'd mind a tri. Beautiful dogs. And ....he's just my baby so it wouldn't matter. Let me see if I can find a better photo. Thank you, Kelly
  10. Sorry about the triple pics. LOL......new at this. Kelly
  11. My border is suppose to be "blk and white" That is what his paperwork says. BUT my border, DYCE, has a bit of brown around his ears where the feathering is and a bit seen in the sunlight on his face. Wouldn't this make him a tri? Daddy was a tri and mom was a blk and white. His litter seemed to be all blk and white. Whereas the other litter the breeder had going was from a brown and white bitch and the same tri male. I'm confused. Thanks. Kelly
