I was just wondering what age to start feeding senior dog food. Or signs to look for. My BC is 8 years old. Been feeding blue buffalo grain free chicken and putting water in it. Has been fine eating it for months almost a year. But here the last weeks when he eats the food it causes diarrhea. When feed dry with no water his poop is normal. Wasn't sure if sings of age or sensitive stomach. Any advice would be greatful thanks

ill have to try TOTW and BB. very interested in Earthborn, ill have to buy a small bag of it online to see how my dogs are on it and go from there, I currently get country achers and really need to upgrade to something better.

got a new job and can buy the better stuff now, was going to start buying TOTW, is there a better food I should try or is that one pretty good? also looking for a good soft food to feed to.

I need to get zipper a new dog tag and i wanted to get one that is good and wont fall off or break or anything. Any good websites to get them from?

Today is Zippers Birthday, He is 1 year old. IM really excited. im thinking of what to do for him tonight for his birthday. im going to be heading to the store here soon to buy him a few toys I just cant believe in 2 months MArch 28th it will be 1 year me and him ahve been together. What do you do for your dogs Birthday? u take him places or give him stuff?

well last time i posted it was about how Zipper was sick. 2 days after i posted that he was 100% better, the next day he was alot better then the 2nd day everything was normal. Vet said it was probably something he ate and just didnt go well with him.

Zipper gets on my bed when we first go to sleep then about 30 mins later he will get off the bed and sleep by the bed, then when its time to wake up he will then jump back in bed and lay on me and try to sleep casue he doesnt want me to wake up

i was going to take him to the vet but since they are close and i had to hav eher call me and then when she said he should be ok but if it gets worse then we would have to take him in. i dont really want to wait tell monday but shes been good with me so far and if the food thing doesnt work ill give her another call and tell her i want tot ake him in.

well come to find out Zipper seems sick. his anus is leaking i guess u could say and he doesnt want to walk casue everytime he does he farts and like it seems like he really has to go but everytime i take him out he wont go. I feel so bad for him he craws insteads of walks and all he wants to do is hide, hes under the bed right now and been there for a while and hes sleeping but u can tell he doesnt feel good. called the palce i take him and they called the vet to call me and she called me and told me to not feed him for a day or so to see if it goes away and give him alot of water and if it gets worse tonight to have them call her again and they will have me bring zzipper into the vets tonight so they can check on him so he doesnt have to wait and she made sure that i knew if that h appended it would cost me alot casue its after hours. if he doesnt get any better in a day or so i have to take him in to get check on to see whats all wrong and if he needs anything. its making his tail all wet from it and his back legs all wet and it has a bad smell to it and everytime he sits down and gets up its all wet right there. I feel so bad casue i cant really do anytihng but keep cleaning it up and off of him and make sure hes dry for right now tell it gets all wet again. I hope it doesnt get any worse not becasue the bill but casue i hate seeing him like this, i know he feels bad and he doesnt like it and it breaks my heart. get better soon zipper

I got a tempur-pedic dog bed for Zipper a month ago, he loved it alot but one day when i was at work i guess he got bored and he ripped it all up so i had to throw it away, I want to get him another one but since i cant watch him when im at work then same thing might happen

Hey there everyone, havnt been able to update for a while casue been so busy here with work and all but now that i have alot of time ill be back more to talk wit all you and let u know how Zipper is doing. Zipper is doing great, He is 11 months old and on jan 28th he will be 1 year old so thats going to be awesome, have the rest of the month to go then on march 28th it will be a year with me and him together so i cant wait!!!! We are learning tricks and hes getting them down pretty good, some trouble here and there but he learns. I found out that he loves the snow, he would play int he snow for hours if i let him, he does the cutest thing, ill go out side and he will look at me and be like lets play, ill take a snowball and throw it at him then he will get snow in his mouth and run at me and jump on me then like spit the snow out at me lol its really awesome. hes getting really good at disc and wow is he fast, i cant believe how fast he is. its fun to hide his toys and tell him to get them casue u can see the wheels in his head going so fast thinking where they are and how to get them and he loves finding his toys and its crazy what they do to get to them and just how smart he is. Ill have to get a picture of him up here in a few, Ill have to take a picture of his tale, it is the most beautiful tale iv seen, it just wows me i love it so much ill have to show u it and show you him so u can see how much he has got.

sweet, ill be getting alot of kongs from internet(they dont sell much here) and ill be getting the jaws both of them casue zipper would love them. i bough him a $1 toy that squeaks and usally he has it all gone but so far its lasted 3 days, usally the $1 i get him th ey are gone with in a day so thats pretty good, hes more into playing with thhis one then biting it all up.

yea I forgot about the kong, Zipper still has his from when i bought it when i got him and still in great shape so ill be getting him more kong toys and zipper goes crazy over toys that has a squeaker in them, i had a new bone and a squeaker to give him and i let him pick what one to have and he took the toy and took off running with it and just was goign crazy so ill be looking for someting that makes noise even if it bugs me a little ill ignore it and at least he is having a blast thats all that matters

so im looking for toys for zipper that will last longer then 2 days, i have prety much tried every dog toy here and they are all destoryed with in a day or 2, im wondering what kind of toys u buy that are for powerful chewers that will last. whats a good site to look for dog toys? just any thing that would help would be great, i just dont know what toys to get anymore

i dont mind the licking the bed and all just the thing is i roll ove rto a really soked spot lol. Yep i have done both of them for a while also and when i do that he does it more so that doesnt work out Zipper loves to play fetch and tug, those are his to fav gameds and he also loves to try to find me, i hide and he has a blast trying to find me its great. we was throwing the frisbee today and he was getting it outta the air, that made me really happy

Hey, So i havnt been around here much as i been busy with Zipper and work and Zipper and Zipper again. HE is the dumest smartest dog I have ever seen lol. So Zipper is doing awesome he is 9 months old on the 28th so next month he will be 10 months old, hes grew so fast and got big and strong. i cant believe he is almost 1 years old and i cant believe i had him 7 months already. So Zipper is doing great, we are having some tough times with tricks, he just wont learn any more, I got him to sit, shake and lay but he isnt learning roll over wave or anything, i been teaching him roll over for a few momnths but he just wont get it, He knows what it is as sometimes he will do it but most of the time he wont. when i tell him to roll over he jumps up from laying down. then he does the strangest thing, he licks like the bed and all, when we lay on my bed he will lick the pillow or the sheats, i tell him no lick but he still does it, he knows what no is but i cant seem to get him to stop doing that. AND I CANT FIND TOYS TO LAST HIM, I buy toys and with a day he chews them all up then tries to eat all the little pierces hes made of it, i buy all kidns of toys but he chews them all up any idea what toys to get or anything? And the playing he bites when we play and he does all the time, he gets really aggressive, i have tried the walk away and all but still no luck, hes a good dog just when it omes to playing he gets like that, im not sure if its csaue hes still a puppy or not anything that can help me out? Other then those things hes great, I can throw the ball up and he can catch it in the air which makes me really happy, its like palying catch with him i just need him to drop the ball after that, he will put his head out likes hes goingt o give it to me but when i reach for it hes pulls his head back like teasing me. he loves to play catch, i bough him a little pool and he just loves that so so much, Ill give a link to him playing in it at teh end of this, hes so awesome hehe, he knows go potty and go poop, he does both of that then he knows we can play after he does that. when it rains out he just goes crazy he tries to bite the rain and u can just see in his face hes having a great time. He plays catch with him self also, he gets his toy then slings it accross teh room then runs after it shakes it then does that again, he will do that for hours. and he does laps, h es run up staires around the living room, back down the staires in to my bed room around the bed and over it back up the staies and back down here and he does laps about 15 times then he lays down for a little break. I have a bird and the bird will get on the side of the cage and Zipper will then go over there and lick the bird. he knows his name and knows come, o i just though of another thing thats ahhhhhhh, HE likes to dig when hes out side awhile, like ill let him out to go potty and all then ill go out to play with him then ill go back in and sometimes he likes to stay outside, idk if he digs casue im not out there or what but i can say this he knows how to open the door to get out and open it to get back inside, He has learned to sit b4 he goes inside and out side and also b4 he gets his food. I LOVE HIS TAIL, he is getting some black in it, like black spots in the white of his tail, its so awesome hehe. but i think im gonna go casue he is bugging me caue he has to go out side for a break. I tried to upload pictures but its not working for me. ill get it working here soon and ill let you all know Zipper playing in his pool (was taken over the summer) Zipper saying he lvoes this song or telling me to turn it off(taken like a week ago)

I was wondering if you feed your dog that soft dog food? I was thinking about it but i remember someone saying that dog food that starts with a P(alwasy slips my mind) was bad so i wasnt sure if i should get Zipper some or not or just not feed him soft dog food. Do u feed your dog it if so how much and every day or what?

What should I buy? I know i should get Flea and Tick and Heartworm but is there anytihng else im missing? and any certin brands better then others?

are dogs like us? as in do they grow in like baby teeth then lost them for adult teeth? one of Zippers theeth just feel out and I wasnt sure if they are like us or not. and is there a age when this happens if they do loose their teeth? EDIT------I found my answer, I just wanted to be sure they do. Didnt want it to be something bad or anything, 1st puppie so its all new to me
