At how many weeks old can you tell which coat type the pups will have? (smooth-rough)

Keegan's mom: Is that ball bouncy? My baby likes the walmart big plastic kiddie balls (vollyballs and soccer balls) but pops them almost immediately. I was wondering if this push n play ball was something he could "volley" back to me or is it too hard and heavy and could hurt him?

I brush once or twice a week, I'll try daily to see if that helps. thanks

My 10month old medium rough coat BC is shedding...BAD! I think they shed about 2x a year but in the middle of July? Just seems strange. Do you all think that this is normal? I am going to consider shaving the stinky mutt next summer since he has an aversion to vacuum cleaners.
