  1. Both puppers have stockings and get their goodies in them ever year! They just love that!
  2. We've been so lucky. Never had a problem or anything eaten or peed on. But of course their first Christmas, I told them both, "No peein on the tree!" anyhow. Just in case.
  3. Yeah they can really obsess over the one that got away. Part of their breeding for the job I guess...
  4. Yeah some of their pillow stink and give me asthma attacks. Glad to hear it's gone!
  5. When our frisbees get stuck up in the tree, I used the hose on high power (put a couple fingers over the stream)to knock them out.
  6. I'd go to the vet also. Years ago my 11yr. lold lab/terrier dog, Reilly, had some of those. Her's turned out to be warts, but you never know. The vet still had to remove them to be sure.
  7. So good to hear from you A.J.! I too haven't been on as much either. Wow! Has it really been 3 yrs already? Time flies. But then it also seems just yesterday our puppers were just little balls of fur!!
  8. Just curious. Has he been checked for a bladder infection?
  9. Yeah vet says he has puppy epilepsy(aggravated by heat) and chances are he will grow out of it. He is headed for 3 yrs in Jan so we will see.
  10. Popcorn's siblings were red and white as well as black and white. Wonder if that also applies to him, and if it is why he has heat induced seizures?
  11. God, I remember the horrible fear when Popcorn started having seizures. (His are heat related- could she have gotten overheated?) But most are treatable so keep your head up. Good luck. Keep us updated.
  12. Hold him your lap and give his ear a few gentle scritches, then treat and praise. Once he is relaxed, then put dropper in all the way into ear gently, and drip it in. Afterwards, then rub the base of ear, for 10-15 seconds, to get it all the meds all of way in. Treating and praising him everytime will convince him that it is a good deal. Because it is not painful. Hope this helps!
  13. Man I'm sorry. It's hard and not fair-but you will have to restart the training all over again(been there done that- no fun). Were you able to speak to the dog's owner? Call animal control or anything?
  14. Mine too. That's too funny. Glad it had a happy ending with no revenge seekin chi chi's...lol.
  15. I agree, and maybe treat her heavily with something delicious when she does so?
  16. Perfect topic for me right now!! I was wondering what the best invisible fence is. One where I can afford and one where I don't have to bury wires. I don't have a huge yard to fence.
  17. This just makes me so sick inside. That's all I can say. EVERY dog pictured looks so sad. Their eyes say it all.
  18. Popcorn love ice cubes too. But Pepper wants nothing to do with them. However, I have to sneak them to Popcorn because my husband gets mad that they leave the floor wet.
  19. If it helps I did an internet search and found some. Here is one: http://www.animalshelterstore.com/product....at=0&page=1
  20. Popcorn does that too! Sounds like he is in pain but he is just trying to express his overwhelming love...lol.
  21. I'm kind of ignorent but had no idea that BC's were at risk for bloat. i didn't think they had deep enough chests. Glad I only let them run and hour before, and an hour ot two, after meals.
