  1. I am able to order a 50lb case of chicken backs from a local farm ($30). So Holly ges 1 back in the morning and some sort of veggie at night. Either some squash or pumpking right now. Now that it is hunting season I will be getting various organs hearts and livers too. I try to give her some sort of liver or heart once a week. Oh on Sundays she gets some eggs for breakfast too.
  2. I was in a similar situation. It's really hard to wait. I most of looked at picutres of my girl 20x a day. It's well worth it, I can't imagine life without her now. ...oh and make sure you have a good vaccuum Cj
  3. I have both the leash and color and love them. The collar is easy to take on and off. I also use the small on Holly as it's very sturdy. Corey
  4. I had a little one say Holly was a cow. He did have the colors right, just a wee bit off on the size. It's was cute.
  5. I will aslo vouch that Holly will sit in my lap. Almost everynight I will head to the couch, and watch some Daily Show. She then knows it's cuddle time She will then lay on her back and rest her head on my shoulder and her paw on my chest.
  6. I would say she is fine. Holly is 3 years old and weighs 29lbs. People aske if she's a puppy cj
  7. This is great to see I'm not alone. Thank you so much for your input.
  8. Well let's see I've had Holly for about 3 months and everything is going great. (She is 3 years old) I do have a question though. When we are out walking and we come across other dogs or people she really doesn't show any interest in them. If the dog comes and smells her she'll do the same, but after that she is done. It's even more noticeable when we a playing Frisbee at the park, a dog could come running up to her, and she' doesn't even acknowledge they are there. Her main concern is when I?m going to throw the Frisbee. She also does with people, she will tolerate strangers petting her, but you can see it in her face that she would rather have me giving her a tummy rub. She isn't aggressive, but more indifferent to the whole matter. Is this normal? Don't get me wrong, I love it. I'm just wondering if others have seen this in their BC. Corey
  9. Opps she has it right, the link above just had a underscore in it. http://sugarbushfarm.net/
  10. I think this is the correct link. I don't think she has her index page named correcty for her server, but if you want to go to her page here it is. http://sugarbushfarm.net/index.htm
  11. Leash training? Just a thought. -Corey
  12. Before my question, I want to say what a great group of people there are here on the forums. The topics and discussion ranges from informative to fun and some are just heart wrenching. My hat is off to you all. So back to my question. What kind of vet practice do you have your pets go to. Do you like the traditional type or more of a holistic approach? I know that many do a bit of both so that's an option too. Why didd you choose this type? Thanks! Corey
