The vet I used to work for used to say the only thing garlic does is give the fleas bad breath. Sorry can't be of more help.

We have a temp of 101 today. Tomorrow is our agility class and temps of high 90"s. I have already decided NOT to take Kassie.....better to be safe than sorry.

foo I don't believe the way some humans don't deserve to live !!! I REALLY don't think you would have any major problems with adding a pup. After meeting your 2 joys, I think they could add a third to their hearts without a problem. It's a plus that this is a male, cause boys get along much better together, I'm told. Prayers are being said, so that you hear from that jerk, and give this pup the life he deserves. P.S. If after you get him and need help beating err uh knocking some sense into this guy....you know who to call

Jo&Tex This time it was just introductions and a play date. Next time we hope to have the picnic and swim in this great creek that is around here. Fooshuman and I also had to travel about 45 min. from home,(coming from opposite directions) but it was soooo worth it !!!!!

Kitch, Kassie is also an escape expert. I use a collar from ShoreDog that is called a walker. It is the best of both worlds cause it has a buckle and martingale system. They are pretty too. I found the martingales have to be big enough to fit over the head, so it is really sloppy around the neck, not so with the walker collar. Here is the link... www.shoredog.com

Your signature line kind of says it all. Are you buying trouble with the what ifs ? Could either dog pick up your nervousness when they are around ? I don't know that I would ever leave them unattended together, but I am also a firm believer in where there is a will there is a way. Good luck on whatever you decide.

I'm sorry but that kid would have been WEARING the poop I just picked up !!! :eek: I believe my property is my property and I will do anything to protect my dog, that's my job. I just have little or no tolerence for nasty children. I'm just glad we live in the country.
