Texas heelers are a cross between an Australian shepherd and a blue or red heeler. They are insanely versatile. They have the calm demeanor of the aussies but they have the grit and longevity of the heelers. Just because it doesn't fit your standards doesn't mean that they are any less useful. I don't have dogs registered with the WSDR, however. I have seen dogs that are registered with them and they are some of the most trainable and competent dogs I've been around.
