  1. Sounds like it could be mange. There are a couple of different types of mites, and they are treated according what kind they are. Keep that appointment with your vet!
  2. If there is only a piece of an ovary then ultrasound is "unlikely" to find it. It's not impossible it just depends on how big the remanant is. If there is still a whole ovary then, yes the should see it. I haven't seen three ovaries, but I have seen three testicles in both dogs and horses.
  3. With symptoms starting and ending at the vets office, sounds like stress to me!! A staff change could definatly be the problem. A new person could be less gentle, make more noise, any number of things. Viral and bacterial things don't incubate fast enough to start a bloody diarrhea in 30 minutes. However, the vet did not handle things very well from the sounds of it. Since she was not very nice when you tried to get more info I think you are right to go elsewhere. That's my 2 cents. Chrysta
  4. Personally, I want a dog that is happy to work, for praise or food or because it wants to, and good solid confirmation. I have a resuced BC that is from working stock. (Parents and grandparents work cattle). She is in my home as a pet and agility dog. I choose her out of the litter of four because she was calm while the group of people were sitting around doing nothing, BUT when we got moving and asked her to pay attention and learn some things she absolutly came alive! She always wants to please me! I would say that form and willingness are the big factors. Chrysta
  5. How nervous are you going into the ring? Remember she is extermley aware of how you feel. Your tension goes right to her.
  6. Is he neutered? How does he currently do with his basic commands? I am in Brevard county and currently am starting agility with a nine month-old pup.
  7. Actually horse jumps are made to fall as well, that's how they get faults. It just takes a heck of a lot more force to make them fall.
