I've had working border collies since 1988 and am not fully functional without one around. They complete a circuit in me and make me whole. I think a border collie skimming over the grass on its outrun is one of the most beautiful sights in the world. But more than anything, I treasure the look of intelligence in my dogs' eyes when they look into mine.
