Just curious as to what the size of an average Border Collie is? Pictures and weight of your pup would be appreciated :-) The few other ones that I met other than mine were all significantly smaller than both of mine. Red-Merle Female 49lbs Chocolate Male 58lbs Other males I have met averaged about 40lbs, and females 35lbs.

They are both very well exercised and have minimum to no fat,the red merle one is 40lbs and fully grown, very lean and muscular. I am expecting the younger chocolate one (of 7months) to be about 55lbs when fully grown, he is currently 47lbs. So in all, are they "normal"? Both are intact if that matters at all.

Hi everyone, I've been looking around on other forums and general knowledge of other Border Collies. - 1 1/2 year old female (red merle) that weighs 40lbs and - 7 month old male (chocolate/brown) that weighs 47lbs. My question is; are they a normal size? Should i be concerned that they're bigger and heavier than all other Border Collies I have seen (in person or online). I feed them both Merrick BackCountry Raw Infused. Their weight is accurate as of July 10th, 2017.

My pup isn't due to the vet in 9 days for her shots/check-up. For the past two days her eyes have been getting significantly more discharge than usual, as well as her eyes being unusually red and "droopy". Any opinions on what it might be and/or whether or not it can wait for her checkup? I was wondering if there are any opinions or proven facts on what type of dominant protein on the food. i.e. Chicken/Turkey/Lamb/Fish/Beef/etc. recipes. Prices and the brand of food are off-topic (it doesn't matter), I was just wondering what type of recipe would be the most recommended. My BC is a extremely active one, if that makes any difference.

My 3 month old pup Bella has started getting some tear stains on her left eye (only the left eye), the vet told me about a week ago to just try to clean it with warm water, but it hasn't changed anything. Any suggestions on what I should do? Cleaning, vitamins, medicine etc.. Thank you!
