I have a 5 month old BC....we live in the suburbs and I am sure you know the energy BC's have. Our dog has a lot of hearding instinct , she heards the kids, balls, toys, and just about anything she can collect. She does not nip heals anymore. If she does not have something to do, she will find something. We have some holes in our back yard, the kids trampoline has been chewed apart and forget leaving shoes outside. None of these issues, I blame the dog for, Grace is wonderful and any trouble she has gotten into has been days where we couldn't not get her enough excercise or leave her armor for more than 4 hours. I'm sure you know all these things since you have a BC
