  1. When I work a talented dog that gets boared with drill but rises to the accasion in real pratical work it makes me ponder. I hold so much value in both trialing and practical work. Trialing to expose the elete and practical work to show, that which takes hours to witness/or the rare oportunity- but is rarely shared with others.
  2. Opps I got cut off. I was going to finish with my experiences Pups going to only puppy homes is ideal
  3. How dogs are raised and the amount of individul attentions can play a big part in how well a dog takes training and how much they try for you. A dog raised by an Open handler who has numerous pups at the same time may never have the required social conection to realy want to please their trainer or have the confidence to take the criticism and move forward. With yrs of experience of raising puppies
  4. I have seen many smooth coat pups. I am a bc breeder with smooth coats as my preference. I am also familiar with bully breeds. She looks like there is a good possibility of being bc/ bull something. I see signs in her eye shape/width, head shape, and also possibly her body /leg shape.
  5. I completely agree with all the positive feedback toward the videos and Chris Knights info on dog breaking cattle and the use of quality tough dogs to do the job. I have Farmer Brown Bred Dogs In Canada and find them to be well rounded for all types of livestock. Some of the toughest cattle included. Hats off. DFrew
