Did he eat or chew any thing while out walking? Have you checked his teeth or mouth? I've had dogs get sticks stuck in the roof of their mouth and not be able to get them out. Did he eat his dinner regularly? Have you seen him go potty since coming back from last night? So many things it could be.

But I hope that Blackjack is feeling all better, and that if he isn't, that they can find out what is wrong with him soon.
Hey that's true. Maybe you can ask your vet to test him for tick disease?

He doesn't chew that much most of the time, but I did check his mouth, gums, nose, ears, and his eyes. I didn't find anything though. The vet checked pretty much everything and she said he was really healthy as far as she could tell, except that his back was kind of sore. She said if he wasn't better today they would run some blood.
As for the flash backs, sometimes if you move wrong or if you do something that reminds him of before he'll cower down for a minutes or so. But he's getting better and better about it.
