These are fuzzy, hard to get Farley to hold still. Not as tall as Mollie yet, but he's getting close! Gotta love those crazy ears. LOL He's quite the sweet boy

Somewhere in Idaho, there is a sighthound that wants his ear's back!  ;)   Beautiful dog!  He reminds me a bit of my Ladybird, mixed bc/somekindofhound/terrier/???

Those aren't airplane ears... they're Beagle ears!

How old is Farley? Forget the ears, I can't stop staring at his blue eyes

Farley is 6 months old. He was a rescue that came from a backyard breeder. The owner of the parents apparently insisted that the pups were 'purebred', but as far as I know, no one saw the parents, and apparantly there was an intact male Lab on the property as well. I doubt they were careful with the Mother when she was in heat. Who knows what other intact males may have lived nearby? He is a sweet boy, very gentle, very calm, and I love to watch him swivel those 'beagle ears' as if they were antennae!

Odd that they docked his tail, did they think he was an Aussie? Farley looks/sounds like a great boy though, congrats on rescuing him!

Apparently they were adamant that he was 'purebred Border Collie'. I have no idea why they docked it - but they did it themselves - no Vet involved - and it is only about 1 inch long. It was in a terrible mess when we got him. Took quite a while to heal up. Poor little guy's whole back end wags when he tries to wag that tiny stub! LOL

In some parts of the country its normal practice to dock a Border Collie's tail. I see it in dogs from eastern Washington and Oregon all the time.

Farley is darling. I love me some airplane ears!
