What's this? Could it be one of the most photogenic Border collies in North America? Is someone stealing Anda's photos yet again?
Posted Image

Nope. These photos were taken with a Nikon, so they can't possibly be Anda's, as we all know she's a dedicated Canon-ite.

Two weeks ago, when I was in Denver helping my mother through knee replacement surgery, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting both Anda and Ouzo. I'm happy to report that they're both even more charismatic in person than anyone could possibly have anticipated.

Ouzo is also quite the gentleman. Even when a spaniel was being incredibly in-your-face annoying in the dog park ("Whee!!! LET'S PLAY!", when everyone KNOWS there's the important job at hand of FETCH), Ouzo tactfully ignored his behavior, as this series clearly demonstrates:

Anda and Ouzo are fortunate to enjoy by far the nicest dog park I've EVER seen. (Duncan and I would kill for something like this). LOTS of room, lots of water for swimming, lots of fields for "fetch":

Ouzo, of course, never fails to capture his prey:

Ouzo is amazingly talented. Have you ever known a dog capable of telekinesis?

Anda shared some tips on how to get good action shots. I need them, as I'm terrible at throwing balls and taking photographs simultaneously.

I have to admit, it takes rare skills as a photographer to make a dog as handsome as Ouzo look, well, "peculiar":

Thank you, Anda, for a thoroughly pleasant afternoon! It was a privilege to meet both of you!!!

Julie, if I'd taken photos of Anda, she might have felt compelled to take photos of ME, and then everyone on earth might discover that I'm not black and white with pricked ears...
