Yesterday Chesney (once he found his brain) got some good work in at the ranch yesterday.

We spend a bit of our afternoon out setting up "photo opportunities" for a lady that wanted to come take pictures of dogs and sheep for the Meeker art show. Chesney, whose very much used to a camera around and people in weird places on the ground, was easy to use. I took advantage of the opportunity too.

I like how this one looks a bit like a painting.

You're right about the 5th photo; it does look like a painting. Very beautiful.

Thanks everyone. Chesney makes taking pictures easy, he's compliant and tolerant of a lot I ask of him.

This ewe and her lamb we being very cooperative for the whole thing too.

Great pix. The 5th one looks like a good painting, IMO because it is extremely well composed. Dog, ewe, lamb are well positioned...something hard to achieve in the field. Nice job. -- TEC

Zoey does look a lot like Chesney, who even enjoys the mud too.

Thanks! The light was actually quite harsh when I first started shooting, but as the sun went down it got better. Most of the ones early in shooting I didn't use.
