Every year at the big Rescue Roundup sponsored by ABCR in Flagstaff at the end of July, we have raffle baskets to benefit our rescue. So I hit the local 2nd hand stores after Easter to collect baskets--and no... Dot is not one of the raffle prizes. Now Jill, I'm open to negotiation ;)

Adorable. It is interesting how some dogs like to lie flat out or partially curled or scrunched up in a little ball. I just placed a foster dog and sent him to his new home with a small cardboard box (with pillow inside) that he took over from the cats. He really had to curl himself into the tightest ball possible, and even then, the sides of the box were bulging out. He voluntarily chose to lie in that box, small as it was, while other very puffy dog beds were available.

Cute! I used to run the raffle for my obedience clubs show every year, and like you I usually got baskets from the Goodwill. Funny thing, at least twice I was pretty sure I got the same basket the next year...I think the winner donated the basket to Goodwill after the raffle.

Training is a journey, not a destination. If you think you’ve arrived, you’ve already missed out.
