Sometimes I wonder if it wouldn't be better to train the sheepdogs to be executives...

http://www.dailymail...-2k-stress.html

"Stressed out City workers are flocking to a new course to relieve the tensions of high flying professionals - by learning how to be sheepdogs. The course is being run by a working shepherd who is turning his hand to executive training. It is the latest craze in motivational and team building for deskbound executives and a far cry from taking them paintballing or teaching them to juggle."

There's even a website for anyone that would want to register ;)

Dear Doggers,

Whilst you are counting how many execs are required to replace one (1) sheepdog, you may wish to recall how big banks defended astonishing bonuses because clever execs were so rare and precious.

Yes, that thought had occured to me too. Plus the fact that the "big bucks" execs tend to follow each other like sheep -- hence the recent finacial woes.

This must be the newest thing. I was sent an article on Equi-Coaching. I think a course in cat-herding is a more valuable course for executives, it is more like real life.

Barbara Sykes has been doing the same here in the UK for years.
