I'd love to see everyone's favorite picture of their dog(s) for the year!

Doesn't need to be the best picture, but the one that really stand out to you and makes you smile!

Here are mine

Missy - I took hundreds of pictures of her this summer. But this look really captured the essence of us


Kipp - my goofy dude. I was taking pictures and he couldn't figure it out. So he started throwing behaviors at me. Here he rolled over and started barking


Kenzi - it's just her look - curious, happy, slightly quirky. She's not quite the dog I thought I was getting when I adopted her. But she's so full of life and just makes me smile.

This is Kit's first time on the trail after her surgery. She was so happy to be back in her element. Can you tell how skinny she is?


We had a pretty good snow storm last weekend. This one captures the essence of Jill. Give her a snow storm and she becomes airborne. I just love this photo.


Dot will do anything to be closer to me, including hopping up on a tall tree trunk to give me kisses.

Dogs in the mist. It's great when we're the only ones out and get to break trail.

This one isn't from this year, but is one that means alot to me, even more so then when it was taken. This is Vicki, Ricky's dam not long after we aquired her and not long before she had Ricky. The shot was taken while we waited our turn in the Pro-novice at the Tingley Sheepdog Trial, it was just like her to be peeking around corners.

This is Oliver on a hike sometime this fall


He LOVES to roll around in tall grass or sprint through it like a madman. For some reason tall grass gives him major zoomies.

Sugarfoot reminds me of a dog I fell in love with at the shelter where I worked in administration.

Lovely dog. Kind of tugs at the heart-strings.

These are my favorites because they were some of the last pictures that I took of Maddie while she was still herself.

My girls:



She LOVED to bark while her brothers played on the beach!!



My husband buried her in the sand while we hung out on our last evening there - she got up just a couple minutes later.

He wasn't a border collie, but he was our loyal companion for almost 13 years. This picture was taken the morning we decided our love for him meant it was time to let him go peacefully and pain free.

Awww, adorable! How'd you get them to stay?

Maddie wouldn't budge an inch if you were paying attention to her!! She didn't care if you were petting her, burying her in the sand, putting clothes on her, or anything.

One year at camp I attended a doggie first aid class with her. When we were learning to do various and sundry things with bandages, she thought that was the best thing ever!! She wasn't tolerating it - she was loving it, lounging on the floor hoping for more!!

Speedy was busy chawing on his bumper, and Dean was trying to hypnotize us into throwing toys into the ocean for him again!!! He is very still when he's trying to do that!!

Sorry I'm posting so many. I haven't even gotten to Dean yet . . . . !! LOL!!

But this is a special favorite, too. It is the only picture I have of all of my black and white dogs together, including Maddie, who was technically brown, but I still referred to her as one of the black and whites. This was taken last winter.

Great pictures!

Like everyone else, I couldn't pick just one lol.

I took these two of Jackson earlier this year. He's always been a serious kind of dog with "old eyes" but he has serious "model" eyes in these 2 lol.



This one is kind of out of focus but Poe LOVES to swim and I love her face.


A rarely get pictures of them together but here are my 2 partners in crime. Even though they don't really snuggle together they are great friends and these 2 pictures make me laugh and smile.
