I've taken photos of others' dogs at sheepdog trials this year, most of the best of which I think I've already posted here. But here are a couple of recent shots that I thought were fun, from a Patrick S clinic I audited:

Linda's Juno, demonstrating that "Baa Ram Ewe" isn't just for pigs:

And Linda's (retired Open dog) Jaffe, looking regal while enjoying his job of exhausting sheep:
Posted Image

I liked this shot because it reveals just how much these dogs *love* their work:

And here is one of a dog, patiently waiting its turn to work (white rectangle in the background is a drive panel):

Lynn, anytime you want, you know where to find more Allie pictures!

Yeah, but why shouldn't others share the pleasure!

(BTW: I tried to send you a message via FB but it seems to hate me tonight).

LOVE the expression of bliss on the face of the "other person's" dog (at a SDT? which one??? and why didn't we see more of your photos of THAT?)

I try to restrain myself on Allie pictures here because of her dubious connection to Border Collie-dom. I believe the headrub recipient is Jean Singer's Tug, taken at Hoof and Paw trial in 2007. Gah, I can't believe how long it's been since I've made it out to a trial!

LOL! I love Odin's expression in that first picture. It's like you can just hear him saying "Really? You can't be serious. I'm not even allowed to chew on my own leash."

I know, right?! Thanks everyone :) And it is so great to "see" all your beautiful dogs again! I hope to be on here more now that I am starting to figure this whole "pet human" thing out. Talk about a high energy, high drive, high maintenance breed!

Those three were my faves of the year.

Laura, while Pia is ADORABLE (and Sue A knows that she needs to keep a close eye on Pia's sister if she doesn't want her puppynapped by me), that face/eye shot of Nick, in particular, is fabulous!!! If eyes are the entry into a being's soul... well, Nick is showing what a lovely soul indeed he possesses.

My favorite of my boy Fury at 6 months old. Purchased from a cattle farm to do agility, but boy has he opened doors for me. This is his first time on sheep at 6 months old and the beginning of a new addiction for me.

Notice his first taste of sheep?

I know this one was fuzzy, but it shows how much he wants to do what he was born to do.

And Anda: you left out my all-time favorite photo of Ouzo - the "golden" one shot this fall with your new iPhone!
