I have a black and white long-haired Tuxedo cat named Scotty. He was stolen away from his feral mother at age 3 weeks, he is 5 years old now. His mission in life is to keep the dogs in their place. If the dogs are somewhere he doesn't think they should be, he "herds" them back into the family room, unless intercepted by one of those stupid people who don't know what a big favor he is doing for them. When I am in the house and call the dogs and they don't come, I can be sure that Scotty is standing between them, and the way to me. I have to go and grant safe passage past the cat. The other cats attitudes go from - hmm, you are eating something that I might like to eat, can you share, to OMG when did we get dogs? (Trevor has short term memory issues) My conclusion is that Scotty was a Border Collie in his last life. He is a very cool cat, and was probably a really great Border Collie!

Aww, what a cutie! We had a long-haired tuxedo cat named Calamity Jane. She died at about age 14, just went out one evening and laid down. She was quite the character, too. :) Thanks for sharing your lovely guy with us!

On one of our stays in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, we met a genuine border cat on the way up to Cliff Bank. She even had the white tip on her tail.

I had a border cheviot lamb named Calamity Jane, lol!

And I'd love to have a border kitty.
