DH and I just saw Cowboys and Aliens. Early on in the movie, a dog shows up and DH and I both say out loud, "That's a border collie!"

The more I watched, though, the more I think the dog might be an English Shepherd. It was a tri color, and the head was somehow too large and square for me to think BC.

Anyway, the dog doesn't have that much to do with the movie, but it was fun seeing it here and there.

Anybody else seen it?

I haven't seen the movie, but heard about the border collie (or similar) from a friend who saw it.

The dog was the only thing I liked about the movie. :D

I also thought the dog was a border collie and that it was the best part of the movie.

Haven't seen it yet, but just wanted to interject that I rarely ever turn down the opportunity to ogle cowboys watch movies with border collies in them.

I don't need much of an excuse to watch Daniel Craig, in any event. The movie isn't award winning material, but I like steampunk, and even though it doesn't quite meet the standards, it was close enough for me.

AND, I really liked that Harrison Ford was an a**hole for the first part of the movie.
