There are some good things in it but also some not so great if you get swept up into it. I like that they are placing a grandfather clause in for existing licensed kennels extending their compliance date. But, if any of you keep dogs in kennel runs either with inside access or with dog houses take some time to see how the proposal would effect you if it was applied to you.
If I am understanding it correctly the outside portion of our runs would need to be substantially increased in size. You have to measure your dog and run the measurement through a formula to arrive at your minimum inside space per individual dog (sq. feet). Then you mulitiply it by 10 to arrive at the minimum outside space that the dog has access to.
