This may have already been posted, so sorry if this is a repeat. National Geographics cover story this month is about animal intelligence and they have Besty the Border Collie on the cover. What better animal to represent animal intelligence The article says she is more intelligent than a great ape and has a vocabulary of 340 words.
The article is pretty interesting and covers a lot of different animals besides dogs.

I looked high & low for one, but it was too late. Then I went to a yard sale and they had one for a quarter. I was in heaven. Great reading. As you must know by now, I must have everything with a border collie on it. Even my purse has a border collie on it. LOL.
