"This is a database of people in Canada who are willing to transport rescue dogs. If you want to be included, please post to this thread, and your information will be taken from your post and placed under the appropriate province heading. Please use the following sample form as a guide for how to provide your information. You can look at the listings below for an example. Thank you for your willingness to help.

Location: [province + rough location within province]
Distance willing to travel: [x number of hours, in what directions]
Vehicle: [enough info to indicate size]
Extra Crates: [yes or no to whether you have an extra crate for the dog(s)]
Pull from shelter: [yes or no to whether you are willing to pull from a shelter]
Hold overnight: [yes or no to whether you can hold the dog(s) overnight]
Times Available: [times you're available, e.g., weekends only, weekdays only, random]

Location: BC - Richmond/Vancouver
Distance willing to travel: Up to two hours, any direction including p/u or d/o at the airport. Occasional trips to WA and to Vancouver Island.
Vehicle: Minivan with seats removed, two 400 crates in the back and room for more if needed.
Extra Crates: Lots - 200, 300, 400, 500.
Pull from shelter: Yes.
Hold overnight: If necessary, prefer not unless it is for p/u or d/o at the airport.
Times Available: Random.

I've fostered for and adopted from That'll Do Border Collie Rescue (since I don't post here that often and nobody knows who I am)

I help run Atlantic All Dog Rescue and we have members in PEI as well who are willing to do the same as myself. I also belong to Maritime Animal Rescue. I'll always do what I can or find someone who can also help.

Extra Crates: 1 full sized crate - Varikennel and one 'puppy size'
Pull from shelter: yes will pull from shelter
Hold overnight: yes can hold overnight if necessary
Times Available: 3 weekends out of each month, I have vacation time that I can access fairly quickly so in an emergency I might be more available
