Jackson doesn't really have much eye or crouch. But he does stare lol. He's a bit more upright and direct I guess like Lassie with an attitude.

Posted Image

He likes to stare at birds:
Posted Image

Can you tell he was feral  He looks a little um....predatory lol! Too bad the little freckles on his legs ruin his tough guy image.

Some one must have the border collie lined up 8 deep (at least); Here are a few of mine:

Dixie, Libby & mist, waiting for the ACD to move the ball
Posted Image

Dixie obsessing on Ducks (you should see Libby obsess on the ducks...she's too fast to take a picture tho')
Posted Image

And tate the first time she saw ducks, she did move them....but she'd rather do cattle...and as Robin F can tell you...just say no to sheep..

Oh how I love these threads. Here's my contribution:

Rhea showing the classic BC crouch. Of course she's staring at the ball...
Posted Image

Gunnar doesn't get as far down, he's got them long legs. :D
Posted Image

Together now, again at the ball
Posted Image

Gunnar was ready for his closeup
Posted Image

I think she's staring at Steven, waiting for him to throw the ball
Posted Image

And lastly "What was that?!"
Posted Image

Are we obsessed?

somehow light coloured eyes dogs seems to have a more intensed stare.

am wondering if it does affect herding itself?

does eye colour make a difference?

Red Dog has never really had that stare - he even works pretty upright. His stare is more of a goofy look at something:

Tweed can eye a tennis ball like no one's business, but alas, does not do it on sheep.
