We have been very successful in treating pneumonia this winter in kittens and pups with Azithromycin (commonly known as Z-pac). May be worth mentioning to your vet? Literally, making sure they are comfy and wearing them against my body somehow, tucked into a shirt, in a baby sling, something. I think the constant warmth and motion help them.
