Just bumping this up- I finally got my copy this weekend (they had some editing issues and had to re-issue) and read it in one afternoon. It's a very enjoyable read about interconnecting families and the influence one man and his border collie had on all their lives. It starts with the journey of "Old" Stewart and Roy, and ends at the Soldier Hollow Classic Trial in the present day with many characters inspired by top trialers. You'll likely need Kleenex for this one .

 

I would highly recommend it for all working dog and animal lovers- a very sweet, touching story that moves fast through the years.

I finished it on the plane today on the way home and I really enjoyed how everyone was interconnected through the story. I would recommend it as well.
