I just received my David Kennard book in today's mail. It's a beautiful book!
i can't wait to read it.

My DH got me David Kennard's book for Christmas, bless his heart! I was initially disappointed as I expected LOTS of pictures but then I began to read it and forgot about pictures. What wonderful writing! Other than Don McCaig, I don't think I've enjoyed an author more since James Herriot.

Sorry to resurrect this thread!

I have just picked up a copy of this book - it makes engrossing reading and is very well written. I'm learning loads too.

Definite recommendation if you're on the lookout for a good read this summer!
ETA: yes, more pics would have been great Sue, I agree - but it's still a great book!
