Jeanne Joy
I ran across this letter the other day. It wasn't that many years ago when Livestock Guardian Dogs changed the face of a decade of change in predator control policies that neither the livestock industry nor the environmental community happy with. The Taylor Ranch employed LGDs in the 1970s as part of a study where Maremmas worked alongside Shar Planinetz (Sarplaninac) and Anatolian Shepherds. The first Maremmas were introduced to the U.S. in the mid-1970's by the Hampshire College. jeanne
