I like that one of Bart too. And I like the one of Tom Wilson with Sly - I like those queit photos of dog and handler - they say so much. There is another one in Under the Handlers Tent under the Meeker photos post of Kate Ash and her dog. It is beautiful.

I love Bart's outrun. The nice taunt lines of animals in motion really speak to me. I just want to grab my sketchbook everytime I see one of those and capture the moment in my style...which just happens to be very realistic.

Beauty, intelligence and stamina... don't see that much in dogs or people! Our BC's have it all. I admit I am predjudice.

I just sigh when I see these awesome dog's working and loving it, hope some day maybe my Phoenix can do this.

Thanks Eileen, for sharing

Beautiful photos, and I even know what a shed is these days  My favorite time of the day is also the dusk or twilight you captured it perfectly, sigh I would love to have been there.

Christine, those are terrific! I'm so glad you had some of Joni's Lew for Kevin -- I know I don't. I'll look to see if I have any of Kathy and Jake. I have a feeling I was watching them so intently I may not have used the camera at all, but maybe I'll find some when I get a chance to do a serious look.

I love the brilliant clarity pros like you and Denise get in your pictures. BTW, I especially admire that picture you took of Jeanne Weaver's Tuff in your photo gallery. I must have shot a dozen of him during both his runs (cause I bred him and wanted a good pic), but he's so loose-eyed I never got one that looked like anything. (My slow reaction time doesn't help, either.) Yours is just great! That early morning light is pretty nice too.

Eileen, Thanks! Yup, since Tuff is loose-eyed he doesn't have a lot of style, so most of mine were not so great either. I didn't know you bred him? Who are his parents?

[edit by Eileen to provide an answer to this question, which I didn't see until literally years after it was posted: Tuff's parents were my Spot (bred by Jeanie Weaver) and my Imp Meg.]

Kevin, I have the Canon 10D.

I am assuming that Tuff is the one blue eyed split face that Jeanne runs?

Saw her at Green Acres trial in Michigan earlier this month. Great looking dog with a lightning outrun compared to the others I saw.

Too bad the sheep that day were not going to be moved with a bulldozer.
