Well done Kiran! What a good boy!

As an aside, he is in the leggy adorable phase.

Thanks, you two.  He really *is* a good boy and tries very earnestly and very hard at everything and is just all around a delight.

Also sometimes a bit of a pushy nag but that's much less often these days and certainly 'tries with his whole heart' by far outweighs the nagging :P

Definitely all legs and skinny lanky teenager right now, too!

And I realized I didn't actually post the accompanying photo!

Have to admit I am having a serious dog crush on Kiran, and if I was not on the other side of the world... sigh.

I'm pretty in love too ;-)  He's just really nicely balanced mentally and physically and willing to try and ultimately figure out pretty much anything and loves almost everything.

There are two people who Do Not like him.  One of those people is my husband, and his dislike is based largely on Kiran being pushy and also, and mostly, in that Kiran is very friendly with everyone but also a very one person dog -friendly, sweet, wiggly, happy with All The People, but he has A Person and it's not my husband.  The other person is afraid of ACDs and he's got just enough cattle dog in his face and pushiness to make her uneasy.

In general, though, he is so universally adored it's both ridiculous and weird.   People are sincerely sad if I show up anywhere without him.   He's Just That Charming.

It's been a while since I did proper pic spam, so.

You said something about legs (O.O)?

He's starting to muscle up a little.

I will just have to continue to adore from a distance.  Such a beautiful dog in every way.

He is a very good boy.

And if we both survive him being a teenager it might be a miracle.  So far the full extent of it has been him reverting back to the strong belief that I am the entertainment committee.  Which doesn't sound too bad except EVERY OUNCE of intensity he has for ANYTHING is now thrown into being a nag.

I mean, I'm handling it but I swear to god....

I get amused at how often he looks, in photos, like a brick.

Like this.  This is a great example.

Or even straight on posed.

I like how you captured that very interesting tongue curl in the first pix. Wonder if he had a bug in his mouth.

I REALLY wish I knew.  I wasn't taking photos at that point, my husband was - so I was actually in the frame and I have no memory at all of what exactly was going on.  Bug seems as good a guess as anything and better than many things I could come up with though!

This dog needs to belong to someone who has any interest in ever teaching a dog to heel.  I do feed it though - it's convenient ;-)

Sometimes, I think he's starting to grow up.

He's definitely impressive sometimes.  Lots of energy, lots of drive, super athletic.

Ridiculously intense.

But then.

5jvThjJlsHxVzUeAF5Up.jpgNope. Definitely still a puppy.

A *RIDICULOUS* one.

And, just about the time I started to question (as a result of other people constantly questioning) if there was actually any BC in him and if maybe he wasn't some kind of hound mix his eye came back.  HARD.

Not on stock so it's not like it counts, but HARD.

Gorgeous, he is growing into a real strong looking dog.  Still cute as though.  I loved when he did not want to let go of the disc - he was still so puppyish.

He is very, very much still a puppy.  Growing into a dog, but such a puppy.

(And yeah, the letting go thing is... a thing. I mostly don't fight it and just stand there while he works out his conflict between 'Want it thrown' and 'don't wanna let go'.  It's sped up a lot, but it's clearly a hard one for him)
